Marc Boothe

Marc Boothe is an independent producer and founder of B3 Media, a successful media arts agency which has been responsible for a number of innovative initiatives ranging from new media to digital cinema. He is also responsible for creating the UK-wide and award winning digital shorts film scheme, Blank Slate, which unearths new talent and explores fresh and practical approaches to showcasing film created by black and minority ethnic artists and film-makers.

Together with Ruth Caleb, he produced director Saul Dibb's acclaimed feature film, Bullet Boy, for BBC Films and the UK Film Council. He was recently nominated for best British Producer by the London Film Critics Circle and is the recipient of a National Endowment of Science, Technology and the Arts (NESTA) fellowship to connect new media and digital cinema through alternative digital distribution networks.

Marc, who also holds an MBA, worked at the UK Film Council as a Senior Executive on the New Cinema Fund; he is also a leading ethnic film marketing consultant whose clients have included: UIP, Warner Bros., Buena Vista, 20th Century Fox, Pathe, BFI and Optimum Releasing and more. Marc is currently in development with his next feature film project.
